My Story
Hi, I’m Francetta, founder of Village Cloth. I’m from Sierra Leone, West Africa, and my design line is rooted in the beauty of African fashion interpreted with a modern, wearable flair.
My work grew from a practical idea: celebrate authentic African influences while creating garments that can move easily between occasions. I design pieces to enhance a woman’s beauty and confidence, with close attention to fit, quality, fabric and finish.
My earlier fusion line worked with Java, Woodin, brocade and Holland wax blends. That spirit continues today in a design line that can be dressed up or down and personalized for clients who want something of their own.
